My new dummy

Although I still don’t have any teeth I have already managed to get rid of two older dummies. My jaws are strong like of a big and angry crocodile. Poor mammy had to go and get me same new dummies.

We went through a few stores before mom realized it won’t be so easy. Finally she bought me quite nice orange “town” dummy. I call it “town” because there is a picture of a dragon on it and the dragon is a symbol of our town. It cost quite a lot of money and looks cool. We will see how long it is going to survive before I chew it up.

Just a few days later we saw some other dummies in another store. They taste quite good but the design is nothing special. One is red and one is blue. Especially the blue one had been troubling mom for a few days. When she bought them they were both packed in one package and the blue one was covered with the red one. Therefore she couldn’t have seen that there was a big red five-pointed “socialistic” star. She found out too late. Mom was watching me to suck on it just for about two days and than she gave up. Now there is a pretty sticker with a bear wearing a stocking hat over the star.

Originally my mom had the idea to give me a dummy as little as possible or not at all. I helped to change her mind :). About two weeks ago I started to chew on my fingers a lot. Sometimes I almost get my entire fist in mouth or I stuck two of my fingers so deep that it looks like I am trying to commit suicide. Mom neither likes my soaked fingers nor does she prefer listening to the whooping noises. Therefore she gives me the dummy – voluntarily and without any restrain.

As you can see I fight my mom with my own resources. I also spit dummies to all possible directions and I try to lie on them so mom couldn’t find them. I also learned to put my point finger underneath the dummy and take it out of my mouth – I can also use my second hand too. When I am really good, I just wave my hands once or twice and the dummy is gone. Last time Aja who was running around my bed helped me. She lay on the dummy and although mom was crawling around she couldn’t find anything. Aja was just happily smiling and wagging her tail. Good girl!
